Biographical history
Assistente Social em Angola em 1969. Em 1970 terminou o Curso Superior de Serviço Social, no Insituto de Serviço Social de Lisboa. Frequentou cursos de especialização em Los Angeles e Paris, entre os anos de 1971 e 1972. Licenciada e doutorada em Sociologia, em 1981 e 1991, pelo ISCTE e pela Universidade François Rabelais, respectivamente. Realizou em 2000, Provas de Agregação no ISCTE, onde é professora desde 1981. Foi, desde 1996, Coordenadora Cientifica da Licenciatura em Serviço Social da Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
